Amulets, as used in Nichiren Shu, serve many purposes. There is no special powers attributed to the use of these amulets. They primarily are an expedient to use in the development of your personal faith and practice. Many people do find them beneficial and appreciate the availability of them. There is no requirement to use an amulet and there is no harm to come from not using one. This is strictly a matter of personal preference and the minister and temple are here to provide the assistance as you deem necessary. In all things, our faith and practice are what is most important and the realization that it is fundamental to develop our personal Buddha potential in order to create the life of the Buddha.
The following list is only a partial one and list some of the main ones that people request. On the back wall of the main hall is a board where you can see all the amulets available.
