On May 31, 2009 the Bishop of Nichiren Order of North America visited the Nichiren Buddhist Temple - Myosho-ji in Charlotte. During his visit here he performed a Kito blessing for all of the members as well as presented a certificate of recognition stating the installation of Rev. Ryusho Jeffus as the head minister of Myosho-ji.

Spreading the Dharma through the teachings of the Eternal Buddha found in the Lotus Sutra. Following the teaching of the Eternal Buddha and Nichiren Shonin the members of the Charlotte Sangha of Nichiren Shu wish to enable all people to attain enlightenment.
