Nichiren Shu - Carolinas - Myosho-ji

The Nichiren Order of North American, NONA, held its convention this year in Houston.  NONA holds these conventions only once every four years during which time a new board of directors is elected.  Also at this meeting the ministers propose a recommendation for the NONA Bishop from within the ministers who are eligible to serve in that position.  Once the Bishop has been selected by the ministers the name is submitted to the Board of Directors for a vote by all the NONA temple lay representatives.
